1400.03.03 Case Presentation Discussion Complicated Hyperparathyroidism

Patient Descriptions

• Female , 55 Y/o
• Married , 4  children
• Was Born in Kashan
• Living in Tehran
• Excellent level of trust & cooperation

  CC :  Bone Pain + high normal Ca , high PTH

Present illness:

• 1384: bone pain in  left leg;   Transplanted by iliac crest
•  One month later, test was requested due to ununion 

      Ca = 16 mg/dl     PTH = 523 pg/ml    MIBI = positive for  ?? gland

•   She was reffered to endocrinologist & surgeon and underwent

      adenomectomy of  right lower parathyroid gland ?? & left thyroid

       lobectomy.
